Paris s'éveille captures the spontaneous energy and intimate atmosphere of wanderings through the streets of Paris. Originating from a dedicated photography series shot on location with a traditional Nikon at a time before smartphones became integral to artistic practice. these images serve as both a visual diary and a tribute to the city’s timeless architecture and hidden corners.
This series is defined by a unique synthesis of mediums. Moving beyond pure photography, Paris s'éveille integrates these exterior shots into complex, layered compositions. Each final print is a hybrid artwork, merging the original photograph with physical paper collages, hand-painted textures on paper, and digital montage. This intricate process transforms the cityscape into a personal landscape, where light, shadow, and urban rhythm are reinterpreted through a rich interplay of texture and graphic intervention.
